One building, one platform
Sqippa is a platform
Sqippa is an IoT platform for wireless monitoring of sensors and devices in buildings. This can, for example, help building owners or facility managers establish the risk of carbon monoxide, legionella bacteria or flooding, but also to determine a system’s maintenance needs or to identify exactly when the heating can be turned down. The Sqippa platform is a service from HBI Bisscheroux bv and applies cost-covering tariffs.
Sqippa is an ambition
Sqippa has a clear ambition: one building, one platform. Looked forward, into a world where everything and everybody is interconnected, there is no more place for barricades and hindrances. We’ll need one platform and one infrastructure that connects all devices and sensors to each other. In order to reach this goal, collaboration between chain partners is a necessity.
Sqippa is a community
Sqippa is a community that includes cooperation between manufacturers, service providers and building owners which aims to align products and services. Partners in Sqippa work together by sharing knowledge in order to find the best solutions for sustainable building management. Smart Buildings. That’s the power of Squippa.
Sqippa is open
Sqippa makes use of the worldwide open IoT standard LoRa, the fastest growing IoT platform in the world. This means that, as a building owner, you won’t be trapped in a closed system. After all, LoRa devices and gateways can deliver their data to you through multiple ways.
Sqippa is safe
Sqippa sticks to the highly safe and sturdy LoRaWan standard. This means that the data traffic that takes place is always encrypted twice. Hackers would be hopeless in their attempts to hack this system. Hereby Sqippa distinguishes itself from other providers that have their own protocols on 868Mhz mesh that don’t have the mentioned security. With Sqippa and LoRa you thus choose for absolute safety.
Sqippa is sustainable
Sqippa fits into a sustainable and circular economy. “Circular” does not only refer to recycling products but is also about using products with a long durability in the most optimal way. Repairing instead of replacing. With the data that derives from devices, manufacturers can make their products more sustainable. The installer, the building manager can from a distance determine exactly how the devices are doing and intervene whenever it’s needed. No inspection at the location is necessary. The building owner is completely in control whilst at the same time unburdened.
